State senator from Maltby honored by Associated General Contractors

Last month, State Sen. Guy Palumbo, D-Maltby, was honored as a Champion of Construction by the Associated General Contractors of Washington.

The organization recognized Palumbo for his work to sponsor and secure passage of legislation to promote workforce training and apprenticeship programs. Palumbo sponsored bill SSB 5713 which was signed into law by Gov. Inslee earlier this year.
