PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Isaiah Lewis
Running back, Monroe, sr.
Lewis rushed for 2,064 yards and 25 touchdowns, averaging 7.8 yards per carry and 172 yards per game. He also had 412 receiving yards and three touchdown catches. The breakout senior star helped the Bearcats reach the Class 4A state quarterfinals for the first time in program history.
COACH OF THE YEAR
Doug Trainor
Everett
The third-year Everett coach guided the Seagulls to a 7-3 record and the program’s first Week 10 playoff appearance since 2010. Everett finished second in the Wesco 3A South and played its best football down the stretch, winning its final five regular-season games by an average of 26 points points per contest. The Seagulls have won 17 games under Trainor over the past three seasons, after mustering just three wins combined in the three seasons prior to his arrival.
FIRST TEAM
Conor Bardue
Quarterback, Lake Stevens, sr.
Bardue completed 62.1 percent of his passes for 2,104 yards, 28 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He helped lead the high-scoring Vikings to their fifth consecutive Wesco 4A title.
Isaiah Lewis
Running back, Monroe, sr.
Keegan Stich
Running back, Snohomish, sr.
Stich rushed for 1,581 yards and 21 touchdowns, averaging 7.8 yards per carry and 158 yards per game.
Kyler Gordon
Multi-purpose, Archbishop Murphy, sr.
Gordon totaled 1,366 yards and 17 touchdowns on offense, averaging 19 yards per touch. The big-time college recruit had 837 yards receiving and 10 touchdown catches, and also rushed for 529 yards and seven scores while averaging 13.6 yards per carry.
Daniel Arias
Wide receiver, Jackson, sr.
The University of Colorado commit had 43 receptions for 844 yards and eight touchdowns. He averaged 94 receiving yards per game.
Efton Chism III
Wide receiver, Monroe, soph.
Chism III had 59 receptions for 937 yards and 12 touchdowns. He averaged 78 receiving yards per game and helped the Bearcats reach the Class 4A state quarterfinals for the first time in program history.
Austin Murren
Wide receiver, Lake Stevens, sr.
Murren had 48 receptions for 816 yards and 14 touchdowns. He averaged 74 yards receiving per game and helped the Vikings reach the Class 4A state playoffs.
Anthony Hutchinson
Wide receiver, Lake Stevens, sr.
Hutchinson came back from injury and caught 40 passes for 759 yards and five touchdowns. He averaged 108 receiving yards per game and helped the Vikings reach the Class 4A state playoffs.
Nathan Mead
Offensive lineman, Monroe, sr.
Mead, the center of Monroe’s dominant offensive line, was a first-team All-Wesco 4A selection who helped the Bearcats reach the state quarterfinals for the first time in program history.
Josh Jerome
Offensive lineman, Monroe, sr.
Jerome, an Eastern Washington University commit, was a first-team All-Wesco 4A selection who helped the Bearcats reach the state quarterfinals for the first time in program history.
Devin Kylany
Offensive lineman, Lake Stevens, soph.
Kylany was a first-team All-Wesco 4A selection who helped the Vikings reach the state playoffs.
Michael Van Beek
Offensive lineman, Arlington, sr.
Van Beek was a first-team All-Wesco 3A North selection.
Martin Napeahi
Offensive lineman, Archbishop Murphy, sr.
Napeahi was a first-team All-Cascade Conference selection who helped the Wildcats reach the Class 2A state semifinals.
Brock Widmann
Kicker, Lake Stevens, jr.
Widmann made all four of his field-goal attempts and converted 69 of 71 extra-point attempts.
SECOND TEAM
Ayden Ziomas
Quarterback, Glacier Peak, jr.
Ziomas completed 62.5 percent of his passes for 2,521 yards, 29 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He also rushed for 517 yards and seven scores, totaling a combined 3,038 yards and 36 touchdowns.
Ray Pimentel
Running back, Archbishop Murphy, sr.
Pimentel rushed for 2,079 yards and 28 touchdowns, averaging 10.1 yards per carry and 160 yards per game. He helped the Wildcats reach the Class 2A state semifinals.
Capassio Cherry
Running back, Edmonds-Woodway, jr.
Cherry rushed for 1,221 yards and 16 touchdowns in seven games. He averaged 8.9 yards per carry and 174 yards rushing per game.
Brandon Bach
Multi-purpose, Mountlake Terrace, jr.
Bach had 43 receptions for 759 yards and nine touchdowns. He also had 101 rushing yards and 598 return yards.
Bo Burns
Wide receiver, Glacier Peak, sr.
Burns had 531 yards receiving and 12 touchdown catches.
Campbell Hudson
Wide receiver, Arlington, sr.
Hudson had 635 yards receiving and nine touchdown catches.
Isaiah Cole
Wide receiver, Monroe, sr.
Cole came back from injury and caught 34 passes for 576 yards and seven touchdowns. He averaged 72 receiving yards per game and helped the Bearcats reach the Class 4A state quarterfinals for the first time in program history.
Will Schafer
Wide receiver, Meadowdale, sr.
Schafer had 38 receptions for 691 yards and seven touchdowns.
Tanner Hollenbeck
Offensive lineman, Everett, sr.
Hollenbeck was a first-team All-Wesco 3A South selection.
Ankur Graves
Offensive lineman, Glacier Peak, sr.
Graves was a first-team All-Wesco 4A selection.
Elijah Tofilau
Offensive lineman, Monroe, sr.
Tofilau was a second-team All-Wesco 4A selection who helped the Bearcats reach the state quarterfinals for the first time in program history.
Carter Cole
Offensive lineman, Snohomish, jr.
Cole was a first-team All-Wesco 3A South selection.
Taylor Schoenfeld
Offensive lineman, King’s, sr.
Schoenfeld, a Division I college prospect, was a first-team All-Cascade Conference selection.
Sarmad Aqrawi
Kicker, Cascade, sr.
Aqrawi made 31 of his 34 extra-point attempts.
