The Arlington High School DECA business and marketing club for the 23rd year delivered food and other donations to families in need for the holidays.

Students gathered donations at the Arlington Safeway and Walmart from Nov. 17 to Dec. 10, collecting 20,000 food donations and $7,200.

About one-third of the donations helped 29 families in the community; the other two-thirds benefited the Arlington Community Food Bank.

“I can’t thank the community enough for their generosity,” club adviser Tyler Payne said.
