ARLINGTON — The Arlington boys basketball team is hosting its eighth annual Coaches vs. Cancer game Tuesday night against Snohomish at Arlington High School.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the event, which raises funds for the American Cancer Society and honors those in the community who have been affected by the disease. A special pregame ceremony will take place, followed by tip-off at 7:15 p.m.
Honorary coaches will be recognized during the pregame ceremony and sit on the teams’ benches during the game. The honorary coaches include individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer and others affected by the disease.
There are several activities scheduled throughout the night, including halftime pop-a-shot, gift-basket raffles and giveaways.
