Man shot in Marysville remains critical; 2 suspects at large

MARYSVILLE — A man who was shot outside a Marysville motel remained in critical condition Wednesday, police said.

A gunshot seriously wounded the man around 7 p.m. Tuesday. Security footage showed two men fled the scene in a white SUV, Marysville police Cmdr. Mark Thomas said.

The pair remained at large Wednesday. Suspect descriptions have not been released.

An ambulance took the wounded man, 31, to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. Police haven’t been able to interview him because of his condition, Thomas said.

Detectives continued to investigate what led up to the shooting.
