The Hardwood Classic has arrived.

This is the week of the high school state basketball tournaments, which begin Wednesday and continue through Saturday. The top 12 teams at each classification gather to slug it out for the rights to be called state champions.

The 4A and 3A tournaments take place in Tacoma, and there are six local teams taking part. Here’s each team at a glance:
