The FIRST Lego League Western Washington Championship was held Feb. 11 in Kent.

The Not So Mad Scientists Team 6788, an Everett-based Girl Scouts team, won a Core Values “Inspiration” award.

Robogators Blue Team 6438, from Northshore Christian Academy of Everett, won a Robot “Performance” award.

Other local teams that advanced to the state championship were the Robogators Green Team, the Robotrons of Bothell, and the TacoKatz from Holy Rosary School in Edmonds.
