It’s been quite the school year for wrestler Kiley Hubby. She won her weight class at the Women’s West Coast Tournament of Champions in December, claimed a state title at Mat Classic in February, and now she’s added a pair of national championships to the list.

Hubby, a sophomore at Glacier Peak High School, won two titles at the U.S. Marine Corps Junior Folkstyle Nationals, which took place over the weekend in Oklahoma City.

First, Hubby won the title in the cadet (ages 16-17) 152-pound division on Saturday. Hubby trailed Tristan Kelly of Colorado, ranked No. 2 in the country, 7-4 in the championship match. However, Hubby rallied to tie it up, then scored a reversal in the third period for the point that gave her an 8-7 victory.

Hubby then jumped up to the junior (ages 18-20) 152-pound division on Sunday and added another title against older competition. In the championship match Hubby defeated Kiana Pugh of Wisconsin, last year’s junior runner-up, 4-2 in overtime, scoring a takedown in sudden victory.
