BLOG: It is the eve of the Western Conference finals

So here we are the night before the Western Conference finals begin.

It is the first conference finals appearance for the Everett Silvertips in a dozen years, the first in half that many for the Tri-City Americans. Technically it’s a 1-vs-7 matchup, but few who followed the league all year are surprised these two teams are the finalists.
