High School Athletes of the Week for April 23-28

Here are the Herald’s Prep Athletes of the Week, for April 23-28.

Diego Hernandez

Sultan | Boys Soccer

Hernandez, a sophomore forward, scored three goals as the Turks beat Granite Falls 4-3 in overtime Friday.

Bailey Greenlee

Snohomish | Softball

Greenlee, a senior, pitched a perfect game Friday as the Panthers defeated Everett 5-0 in Wesco 3A North play. It was Greenlee’s second perfect game of the season.

Caden Lockhart

Everett | Baseball

Lockhart, a sophomore, went 3-for-4 and drove in six runs in the Seagulls’ two Wesco 3A victories over Marysville Getchell last week. Lockhart had five of his RBI in a 9-8 win on April 24.

Alvin Kwak

Kamiak | Boys Golf

Kwak, a junior, captured medalist honors at two eight-team Wesco 4A meets last week. He shot a 2-under-par 68 on April 23 at Echo Falls Golf Course, and a 3-under 70 Thursday at Battle Creek.

Kesley Robinson

Everett | Girls Golf

Robinson, a junior, shot a 4-over-par 39 Thursday at Legion Memorial Golf Course to earn medalist honors in a match against Jackson.

Daniel Arias

Jackson |Boys Track and Field

Arias, a senior, won two events Saturday at the Shoreline Invitational. Arias placed first in both the 200-meter race (22.41 seconds) and the 400 (49.51).

Sydney Brandt

Shorecrest | Girls Track and Field

Brandt, a junior, won the long jump (17 feet, 7 inches) and the triple jump (37-1.75) at the Shoreline Invitational on Saturday.

Annie Hoang

Mountlake Terrace | Girls Tennis

Hoang, a freshman, remained undefeated on the season with three victories last week. Hoang, playing No. 1 singles, lost just two games in the three victories.
