Here are the prep stars of the night from Thursday, Oct. 4:

Liam Perkins, Marysville Getchell boys tennis

Perkins staged an incredible comeback for the Chargers’ lone win in a 6-1 defeat at Monroe, rallying from a 6-1 defeat in the first set to beat the Bearcats’ Owen Chi. Perkins won a second-set tiebreaker and a third-set super-tiebreaker to earn the victory.

Cheyenne Kreide, Lake Stevens girls swimming & diving

Kreide, a junior, won two events and on two winning relays for the Vikings in wins over Marysville Pilchuck and Marysville Getchell. Her winning time of 27.61 in the 50 freestyle was a season best.

Brady Thomas, Jackson boys tennis

Thomas, a sophomore, bested Glacier Peak’s Dario Ristovski in what Timberwolves coach David Hutt called a “hard-fought” match en route to Jackson’s 4-3 win over the Grizzlies.

Callie Wright, King’s girls soccer

Wright, a senior midfielder/forward, scored two goals, including a second-half penalty kick that wound up being the match-winner, in the Class 1A Knights’ 3-2 non-conference victory over 4A Woodinville.

Jasett Smith, Snohomish volleyball

Smith, a freshman hitter, recorded the match-winning kill for the Panthers in a thrilling five-set win at Arlington in a battle of Wesco 3A unbeatens.
