HEADS UP

Speak up on county spending

The Snohomish County Council has scheduled a forum at 6:30 p.m. Monday to discuss next year’s budget.

County staff plan to deliver a short presentation during the meeting. Attendees will have the chance to comment afterward. The location is the Jackson Board Room on the eighth floor of the county’s Robert Drewel building at 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett.

The council is in the process of considering a budget plan that County Executive Dave Somers released in September. The council typically passes its own version of the budget in November.
