Zach Leonen, Archbishop Murphy boys golf
Leonen fired a 3-over-par 39 to take medalist honors at a four-team non-conference meet at Mill Creek Country Club. Leonen helped the Wildcats to a second-place finish in the team standings.
Brandon McClean, Cedar Park Christian baseball
McClean, a senior, threw four shutout innings with six strikeouts, and contributed a run scored and an RBI at the plate in the Eagles’ 10-0 win over Coupeville in the North Sound Conference opener for both teams.
Theron Perkins, Lake Stevens baseball
Perkins, a senior, went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI and a stolen base as the Vikings scored twice in the top of the seventh to nip Edmonds-Woodway 8-7.
Makayla Miller, Glacier Peak softball
Miller, a sophomore, pitched a complete-game two-hitter and went 3-for-4 with an RBI in the Grizzlies’ 9-2 win over Arlington.
