Theron Perkins, Lake Stevens baseball
Perkins, a senior, went 3-for-4 with two doubles, five RBI, four runs scored and two stolen bases in the Vikings’ 17-9 win over Meadowdale.
Sam Mainwaring, Shorewood baseball
Mainwaring, a junior second baseman, went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple and four RBI in the Thunderbirds’ 9-2 win over Kamiak.
Bretta Petersen, Shorewood girls tennis
Petersen rebounded from a first-set defeat to knock off Jackson’s Shubhi Handa in three sets and help the Thunderbirds to a 4-3 win over the Timberwolves.
Brandon Bach, Mountlake Terrace boys track & field
Bach, a senior, threw the javelin 184 feet, 7 inches in a meet with Shorecrest and Lynnwood at Edmonds Stadium. The mark is the best reported to www.athletic.net in the state this season.
Taylor Roe, Lake Stevens girls track & field
Roe, a senior, posted a time of 2 minutes, 17.36 seconds in a meet with Kamiak and Mariner at Lake Stevens. The time is the best reported to www.athletic.net in the state this season. Roe also ran a 4:57.16 in the 1600 meters Thursday, the top reported time in that event.
