Mardesich, a senior, tossed a five-inning no-hitter, striking out one while allowing 6 walks, in the Seagulls’ 14-0 win over Oak Harbor.

Case Matter, Jackson baseball

Matter, a junior, struck out 12 on his way to a two-hit shutout in the Timberwolves’ 1-0 victory over Cascade.

Alex Zahajko, Shorecrest boys soccer

Zahajko, a senior, scored a goal and notched two assists in the Scots’ 5-1 win over Stanwood.
