Alicia Anderson

Kamiak | Girls Track and Field

Anderson, a senior, won the 1600-meter race with a time of 5 minutes, 22.62 seconds, the two-kilometer steeplechase in 7:20.79 and was a part of the Knights’ first-place 4×800 relay team at the Birger Solberg Invite on Saturday at Civic Stadium in Bellingham.

Anna Burke

Shorecrest | Girls Tennis

Burke, a senior, rebounded after dropping her first set to pull off a 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles Tuesday as Shorecrest edged rival Shorewood 4-3.

Joshua Clogston

Kamiak | Boys Golf

Clogston, a sophomore, shot a 1-under-par 35 over nine holes to capture medalist honors in a four-team meet Wednesday at Harbour Pointe Golf Club.

Vincenzo D’Onofrio

Jackson | Boys Soccer

D’Onofrio, a senior, scored three goals — all in the first half — to lead the Timberwolves to a 4-1 victory over Kamiak on Wednesday.

Ashley Jacobson

Glacier Peak | Softball

Jacobson, a junior, hit two grand slams, a solo home run and drove in nine runs Tuesday in the Grizzlies’ 23-1 victory over Monroe.

Ryan Lynch

Monroe | Baseball

Lynch, a sophomore, pitched a two-hitter and struck out 11 Wednesday as the Bearcats defeated Lake Stevens 7-0 in Wesco 4A play.

Samuel Van Peursem

Cedar Park Christian | Boys Track and Field

Van Peursem, a senior, won the discus Saturday at the Birger Solberg Invite in Bellingham with a throw of 177 feet, 7 inches. The mark is the best in the state, according to Athletic.net. Van Peursem also won the shot put with a toss of 63-0.5.

Haley Wong

Shorewood | Girls Golf

Wong, a junior, shot a 2-over-par 39 Wednesday to earn medalist honors in a nine-hole match with Shorecrest, Cedarcrest and Archbishop Murphy at Jackson Park Golf Course.
