Late goal lifts Silvertips to third straight win

VICTORIA, British Columbia — Jackson Berezowski broke up a tied game with a goal at 15:51 in the third period and the Everett Silvertips rallied to a 3-2 win over the Victoria Royals on Wednesday at Save-On-Foods Memorial Arena.
After Tarun Fizer scored to give the Royals an early lead in the first period, Bryce Kindopp potted his WHL-leading eighth goal of the season to pull the Silvertips even at 1-1.
Brendan Lee scored early in the second period to give Everett the lead before Victoria answered with a goal from Logan Doust to tie the game at 2-2 heading into the final frame.
Dustin Wolf stopped 31 of 33 shots as the Silvertips (4-2-0-0) earned their third straight win.
Shane Farkas stopped 38 of 41 shots for the Royals (2-3-0-0).
