PREP STARS OF THE NIGHT FOR TUESDAY, NOV. 5:
Ryann Reynolds, Glacier Peak girls soccer
Reynolds, a freshman forward, scored off a Chloe Seelhoff header in the waning moments of the first period of extra time, giving the Grizzlies a 3-2 overtime victory over Eastlake and a berth in the 4A state tournament.
Katie Cheng, Jackson girls soccer
Cheng, a senior forward/midfielder, scored the match-winning goal for the Timberwolves in an elimination match in the 4A Wes-King Bi-District Tournament, lifting Jackson to a 2-1 win over Redmond.
Payton Parks, Oak Harbor volleyball
Parks, a sophomore middle blocker, recorded eight kills, 11 digs, two blocks and a whopping 14 service aces in the Wildcats’ sweep of Shorewood in the Wesco 3A/2A regular-season finale for both teams.
