PREP STARS OF THE NIGHT FOR FRIDAY, DEC. 6:

Mutdung Bol, Edmonds-Woodway boys basketball

Bol, a senior guard, scored 23 points in the team’s season-opening 53-39 win over Juanita.

Tyler Linhardt, King’s boys basketball

Linhardt, a sophomore forward, scored 25 points, including 12 of the Knights’ final 16, but Class 1A King’s came up short in a scintillating non-conference clash with 4A Glacier Peak, falling 58-53.

Raigan Reed, Lake Stevens girls basketball

Reed, a senior guard and a Boise State signee, scored five points and added a steal in the final 17 seconds of play to help the Vikings beat Arlington 57-54 in a non-conference game after trailing by as many as 10 in the fourth quarter.

Taras Fesiienko, Everett boys basketball

Fesiienko, a junior guard, scored 43 points and carried the Seagulls to a 69-58 win over Cascade in the annual BruGull Fest game between the city rivals.

Julia Lucas, Archbishop Murphy girls basketball

Lucas, a senior forward, scored 22 points as the Wildcats held off North Kitsap for a 56-53 non-conference win.

Xavier Wilkening-Joly, Jackson boys wrestling

Wilkening-Joly earned a pair of pins at 170 pounds as the Timberwolves beat Lynnwood and Cascade in a double-dual.
