Prep stars of the night for Saturday, Dec. 14:

Jonah Palabrica, Everett boys wrestling

Palabrica, a junior, was named Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Battle of the Border tournament in Blaine after taking first place in the 106-pound weight class. Palabrica helped the Seagulls to a team title at the event.

Mason Christianson, Mountlake Terrace boys basketball

Christianson, a senior, went 6-of-7 from the field and 7-of-9 at the free-throw line on his way to 19 points in the Hawks’ 64-35 win over Mount Rainier at Highline College. Christianson added six rebounds, six assists and three steals.

Alyvia Wright, Darrington girls basketball

Wright, a sophomore, scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the Loggers’ 63-30 win over Crescent.

Alivia White, Marysville Pilchuck girls wrestling

White, a freshman, won the 190-pound weight class at the Lady Classic tournament at Everett High School. White won her weight class by pinning two-time defending state champion Ofa He Lotu Tuifua of Kent Meridian in the semifinals and picking up a 6-4 decision over 2018 145-pound state champion Kiley Hubby of Lake Stevens in the finals.

Diana Cantini, Kamiak girls wrestling

Cantini, a senior, took just 54 seconds to earn a pinfall victory in the finals of the 110-pound weight class at the Lady Classic at Everett High School. Cantini won all three of her matches by pin.

Cayden White, Marysville Pilchuck boys wrestling

White, a senior, finished first in the 182-pound weight class at the Wilfong Classic at Puyallup High School with a pin over Ellensburg’s Henry Reinhart, the top-ranked 182-pounder according to Washington Wrestling Report.
