Sheriff should keep quiet on Constitution, masks

I wish Sheriff Adam Fortney would have kept his opinions on the Constitution quiet, over the issue of masks. I don’t think any police or sheriff department in our state would have started arresting people over wearing or not wearing masks.

All Fortney did is let all the voters know that he is a Trump-type Republican in a county that usually votes for Democrats. Fortney fooled a lot of people into thinking he was nonpartisan when he got elected but now we have another them against us political feud. I didn’t sign the petition to recall him but I sure won’t be voting for any Trump Republicans ever.

I also wish Fortney wouldn’t have brought up his church is his video. I know there are many good honest people who go to church but most of the really dishonest people I ever knew are in church every Sunday.
