Marysville mobile home park fire displaces four residents

MARYSVILLE — Four people lost their homes but escaped injury after a fire spread through three mobile homes early Sunday morning.
The fire was reported before 5 a.m. in the 16600 block of 25th Avenue. A man, 35, and a 17-year-old girl in the home where the fire started escaped unharmed, but the flames spread to two other homes, according to the Marysville Fire District. Two women living in those homes were not injured.
Strong winds fed and spread the fire, which was eventually put out by over two dozen firefighters.
The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office was investigating the fire’s cause.
Residents who lost homes were being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The Marysville Fire District encourages people to inspect smoke alarms and replace their batteries each year for models with replaceable batteries. All smoke alarms should be replaced every 10 years.
