LYNNWOOD — A 39-year-old man was allegedly stabbed Friday night in Lynnwood. He is expected to survive, according to police.

The man was reportedly stabbed in the parking lot of a Lynnwood apartment complex in the 19800 block of 50th Avenue West after an argument around 6 p.m. Friday, said Lynnwood police spokesperson Joanna Small. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Officers were still searching Saturday for the suspect, whom they haven’t identified publicly. Police believe the suspect and victim knew each other. There was no threat to the public, Small said.

“It wasn’t random,” she said.
