Lake Stevens 67, Jackson 61
LAKE STEVENS — Maddox Preder scored 17 points and Grayson Murren added 16 as resurgent Lake Stevens beat Jackson in a league game on Saturday night.
With the win the Vikings clinched Wesco 4A’s No. 3-seed and will have a play-in game for the upcoming District 1/2 tournament on Thursday.
Samuel Gardner chipped in 13 points for Lake Stevens (9-9, 3-4 Wesc0 4A), which has won three in a row after suffering a five-game losing streak.
Sylas Williams scored 22 points and Drilon Veliu added 10 for Jackson (11-7, 2-6), which has lost six of seven, but will have a chance to reach the bi-district tournament with a play-in game on Thursday.
WESCO 3A/2A
Snohomish 62, Cedarcrest 49
SNOHOMISH — Drew Davis led a balanced Snohomish scoring attack with 13 points as the Panthers earned a win over Cedacrest on Saturday in the final league game of the season for both teams.
Andrew Seminara and Peyton Hanning scored 12 points each and Amari Biggs chipped in 10 for Snohomish (5-12, 3-10 Wesco 3A/2A).
Jack Leblanc scored a game-high 26 points and Isaiah Del Degan added eight for Cedarcrest (7-10, 5-9).
The 3A District 1 Tournament begins on Tuesday. The 2A District 1 Tournament begins Wednesday.
Meadowdale 60, Everett 58
LYNNWOOD — Aiden Bloomquist scored 19 points and had nine rebounds, and Meadowdale’s defense came up with a clutch steal in the final seconds as the Mavericks beat Everett for their second straight league win.
Henock Tsegay scored 14 points and Jaymon Wright chipped in 10 for Meadowdale (3-13, 3-10 Wesco 3A/2A).
Danie Savovic scored a game-high 22 points and Hayden Conaxis added 13 for Everett (10-8, 9-4).

GIRLS BASKETBALL
NON-LEAGUE
Glacier Peak 54, Burlington-Edison 49
BURLINGTON — Freshman Brynna Pukis scored a game-high 22 points to help lead Glacier Peak to a non-league win over Class 2A No. 8-ranked Burlington-Edison on Saturday.
Kylani Rookstool added 16 points and Mya Wise had seven for Glacier Peak (6-11).
Analise Slotemaker score a team-high 15 points for Burlington-Edison (14-6).
Cascade 31, Marysville Pilchuck 30
MARYSVILLE — Mariam Sylla led six Cascade scorers with nine points and the Bruins held off a late charge in a win over Marysville Pilchuck.
The non-league game served as a play-in game for the 3A District 1 Tournament. With the win, the Bruins will enter the tournament as the No. 16 seed and will face No. 9 Mount Vernon on Tuesday.
Claire Mitchell and Abby Surowiec scored six points each for Cascade (3-13).
Bri Ruiz scored 11 points and Gianna Franks added nine for Marysville Pilchuck, which finished its season with a 3-12 overall record.
2A DISTRICT 2 TOURNAMENT
Sultan 49, Granite Falls 29
SULTAN — Cascadia Yates and Faith Anderson combined for 32 points as Sultan opened the 2A District 2 Tournament with a win over Granite Falls.
Yates finished with 17 points and Anderson had 15 for the Lady Turks.
Sultan, the seventh seed, advance to face second-seed King’s in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.
Makena McGill scored a game-high 25 points for Granite Falls, which finished its season with a 7-10 overall record.
1B DISTRICT 1 TOURNAMENT
Lummi Nation 54, Darrington 39
BELLINGHAM — Claire Wright scored 17 points, but Darrington fell to Lummi Nation in the opening round of the 1B District 1 Tournament on Saturday.
Alyvia Wright scored six points and Carlie Espeland added five for Darrington, which will next play Shoreline Christian in a loser-out game on Tuesday.
