Glacier Peak 67, Mariner 63 (OT)

SNOHOMISH — Torey Watkins scored a game-high 27 points, including four in overtime, as Glacier Peak beat Mariner on Tuesday night to hand the Marauders their first league loss of the season in the final regular season game for both teams.

Aidan Davis scored 16 points and Jo Lee added 10, including four in overtime, for Glacier Peak (12-4, 6-2 Wesco 4A).

Naser Motley scored a team-high 20 points and Dakota Joseph added 10 for Mariner (13-7, 7-1).

The Marauders will still enter the the bi-district tournmanent as the top seed from Wesco 4A, which the Grizzlies will be seeded as the No. 2 team from Wesco. The tournament begins Thursday.

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Fourth-seeded Mountlake Terrace beat No. 5 Mount Vernon in an opening round game of the 3A District 1 Tournament on Tuesday night.

With the win, Mountlake Terrace (14-2) automatically advanced to Saturday’s quarterfinals to face the winner of Thursday’s Marysville Getchell-Everett loser-out matchup.

Mount Vernon (13-5) will face No. 13-seed Monroe in a loser-out game on Thursday.

Arlington 65, Marysville Pilchuck 53

ARLINGTON — Top-seed Arlington beat No. 8 Marysville Pilchuck in an opening round game of the 3A District 1 Tournament.

With the win, Arlington (15-4) automatically advanced to Saturday’s quarterfinals to face the winner of Thursday’s Edmonds-Woodway-Shorecrest loser-out matchup.

Marysville Pilchuck (7-8) will face No. 9 Cascade in a loser-out game on Thursday.

Stanwood 66, Everett 49

STANWOOD — Third-seeded Stanwood beat No. 6 Everett in an opening round game of the 3A District 1 Tournament.

With the win, Stanwood (13-6) automatically advanced to Saturday’s quarterfinals to face the winner of Thursday’s Monroe-Mount Vernon loser-out matchup.

Everett (10-9) will face No. 11 Marysville Getchell in a loser-out game on Thursday.

Ferndale 72, Shorecrest 63

SHORELINE — Seventh-seeded Ferndale upset No. 2 Shorecrest in an opening round game of the 3A District 1 Tournament.

With the win, Ferndale (9-10) automatically advanced to Saturday’s quarterfinals to face the winner of Thursday’s Cascade-Marysville Pilchuck loser-out matchup.

Shorecrest (17-3) will next face No. 10 Edmonds-Woodway in a loser-out game on Thursday.

Marysville Getchell 62, Shorewood 42

MARYSVILLE — Freshman guard Bubba Palacol scored a game-high 29 points and added four rebounds, two steals and three assists to help lead No. 11-seed Marsyville Getchell to a win over No. 14 Shorewood in a district tournament loser-out game.

Aiden Gleason scored 15 points and added seven rebounds, four steals and four assists, and Ryan Allison chipped in nine for Marysville Getchell (7-8), which advanced to face No. 6 Everett in a loser-out game on Thursday.

Rahmatullah Salim scored a team-high 20 points and Pityas Isayas added 11 for Shorewood, which finished its season with a 5-12 overall record.

Cascade 65, Lynnwood 53

EVERETT — Devin Gilbert scored a game-high 28 points as ninth-seed Cascade earned a win over No. 16 Lynnwood in a district tournament game loser-out game.

Cam Edwards scored 15 points, and Jack Nelson and Aidan Kopra added 10 each for Cascade (8-9), which advanced to face No. 8 Marysville Pilchuck in a loser-out game on Thursday.

Keegan Williams scored 20 points and Tommy McMahon added 11 for Lynnwood, which finished its season with a 1-16 record.

Monroe 71, Oak Harbor 62

OAK HARBOR — Thirteenth-seeded Monroe beat No. 12 Oak Harbor in an opening round loser-out game of the district tournament.

Monroe (4-11) advanced to face No. 5 Mount Vernon in a loser-out game on Thursday.

Oak Harbor finished its season with a 7-11 overall record.

Edmonds-Woodway 58, Snohomish 57

EDMONDS — Tenth-seeded Edmonds-Woodway beat No. 15 Snohomish in an opening round loser-out game of the district tournament.

Edmonds-Woodway (9-10) advanced to face No. 2 Shorecrest in a loser-out game on Thursday.

Snohomish finished its season with a 5-13 overall record.
