Is my PUD bill reflecting colder temperatures?

I sympathize with the recent letter to the editor regarding a $773.46 Snohomiosh PUD bill; outrageous. I choked when I opened my bill this month. It went up from $265 in December to $385. Outrageous. Was it the snow or the temperaturess that few days?

Is this something new in the Northwest? Cold weather, covid 19? This is the highest bill I have ever received from PUD in the 20 years I have been keeping records. Just wondering.
