Everett school levies’ passage means I can afford medication

Published 1:30 am Thursday, February 17, 2022

Thanks to all the residents of the Everett School District for approving the two bloated levies for the insatiable school district. Now that my taxes will again be going up, I need help deciding which of my medicines I can leave out; the heart medicine, blood pressure medicine, COPD medicine?

At least your children will get their “enrichments,” computers, sports, after-school activities, etc. We need those new buildings for the declining enrollment and a few more paper pushers (administrators). Hopefully, we can introduce a levy to pay for my and other seniors’ hospital bills when we are admitted due to being unable to afford our medications or even our homes.

Thanks again!
