MILL CREEK — Hunter Komine went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI and Coleman added two hits and an RBI as Jackson topped Glacier Peak in a league game on Wednesday.

Kellan Johns (five innings pitched), Cole Benjamin (one) and Tyler Heinrich (one) combined to allow just one earned run on four hits while striking out six for Jackson (13-4, 4-1 Wesco 4A).

Nate Morello went 1-for-3 with an RBI and Jadon Claps added a double for Glacier Peak (10-6, 2-3).

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Cody Snow allowed one run on just three hits while striking out nine in his third complete-game performace of the season to lift Mountlake Terrace to a league win over Cedarcrest.

Ethan Swenson went 2-for-2 with an RBI, Talan Zenk had two hits and Griffin Potter drove in three runs for Mountlake Terrace (5-10, 4-6 Wesco 3A South).

Cedarcrest fell to 4-10 overall and 0-9 in league play.

Edmonds-Woodway 6, Shorecrest 0

EDMONDS — Jonah Brower tossed a shutout and allowed just four hits while striking out six to lift Edmonds-Woodway to a league win over Shorecrest.

Gibby Marshall-Inman went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI, Jens Simonsen went 2-for-3 with a triple and Drew Warner went 2-for-3 with a double, triple and a run batted in for Edmonds-Woodway (9-7, 8-2 Wesco 3A South).

Quinn Burnham tossed two scoreless, hitless innings in relief for Shorecrest (4-12, 3-7).

LAKE STEVENS — Rachel Sysum hit a two-run home run in a decisive three-run fifth inning and Jackson held on for a close league win over Lake Stevens to remain undefeated on the season.

Leneyah Mitchell also drove in a run in the fifth as the Timberwolves broke up 0-0 tie. Mitchell finished 2-for-3 with a double and Yanina Sherwood struck out eight and allowed no runs on just two hits over seven innings for Jackson (14-0, 2-0 Wesco 4A).

McKenna Richer and Zoe Hopkins had base hits, and Kyleigh Lynn and Charli Pugmire combined to allow just three runs on seven hits for Lake Stevens (5-7, 0-2).
