Herald’s food writer is a great addition to paper

Three cheers and a tiger to Herald food writer Taylor Goebel. She’s really hit the ground running: Lots of content, great local feel, and honesty about your tastes. You once said, “I don’t like beets.” Well, no one likes everything. Maybe a nice bowl of hot borscht would be a good entry point to beets? I’ve been trying to like sauerkraut for decades, but haven’t found one that I can abide. Yet?

Anyway, thanks for your efforts. I’m a foodie and I used to write a restaurant review column back in Chicago in the 1990s. Keep up the good work, Taylor! You are a great addition to The Herald.
