Pick one of the high school football games we’ll cover this week. Voting closes at noon Wednesday.

Monroe vs. Kamiak at Goddard Stadium, Friday, 7 p.m.

The Bearcats and Knights meet for an intriguing non-league clash of former Wesco 4A foes. Wesco 3A South favorite Monroe has dominated in its early schedule, winning its first two games by an average of 38.5 points. Kamiak rebounded from a tough opening week loss by edging Edmonds-Woodway 21-20 last Friday.

Marysville Getchell at Marysville Pilchuck, Friday, 7 p.m.

The Chargers and Tomahawks clash in the 11th meeting between the crosstown rivals. Marysville Pilchuck has dominated this matchup with wins in all 10 games, including nine by 28 points or more. Both teams are looking for their first Wesco 3A North win after losing their league openers last week.

Ferndale vs. Glacier Peak at Lumen Field, Saturday, 3:45 p.m.

The Golden Eagles and Grizzlies get the unique experience of playing at the home of the Seattle Seahawks in a Saturday afternoon game. This is also a marquee non-league matchup between state playoff contenders. Wesco 3A North favorite Ferndale bounced back from an opening loss to defending 2A champion by routing Oak Harbor 47-6 last Saturday. Wesco 4A contender Glacier Peak is coming off an impressive 34-28 road win over perennial 4A power Camas.
