SNOHOMISH — Jada Andresen scored a team-high 17 points, including five 3-pointers, but Snohomish opened its season with a loss to defending 1A state champion Lynden Christian.
Tyler Gildersleeve-Stiles had seven points and Catherine Green chipped in six for Snohomish (0-1).
Grace Hintz scored a game-high 20 points for Lynden Christian (1-0).
Marysville Getchell 54, Jackson 46
MILL CREEK — Hayden Robinson scored 18 points and freshman Janelle Bagtas added 15 as Marysville Getchell tallied its first win of the season in a non-league game against Jackson.
Kalea Mailangi added six points for Marysville Getchell (1-1).
Giselle Dogan scored a game-high 33 points and Emma Blakely added six for Jackson (0-1).
