BOYS BASKETBALL

Wesco 3A/2A

Everett 67, Meadowdale 49

EVERETT — Hayden Conaxis, Isaiah White and Daniel Savovic combined for 55 points to lead the Seagulls by the Mavericks in a Wesco 3A/2A contest.

Conaxis scored a game-high 20 points and posted a double-double with 10 rebounds. He added five blocks. White netted 19 points to go with five rebounds, five assists and five steals. Savovic chipped in 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists for Everett (2-3 overall, 2-1 league).

Jaymon Wright had 18 points, eight rebounds and five steals, and Malik Robinson added 10 points and three steals for Meadowdale (2-4, 0-3).

Non-league

Darrington 49, Providence Classical Christian 37

DARRINGTON — Ashin Whittaker scored 16 points and the Loggers picked up a non-league win over the Highlanders.

Hunter Anderson added nine points and Cooper Green, Logan Lamore and Grady Stuuland each had six points for Darrington (1-2).

Alex Jump scored a game-high 25 points to lead Providence Classical Christian.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Wesco 3A/2A

Arlington 78, Lynnwood 55

BOTHELL — Jenna Villa netted 22 of her game-high 29 points in the second half and the Eagles outscored the Royals 53-22 in the after the break to earn a come-from-behind victory in Wesco 3A/2A play.

Villa connected on all nine of her free-throw attempts, including 6 of 6 in the fourth quarter, Samara Morrow scored 15 of her 17 points in the second half and Arlington (3-1 overall, 3-0 league) held Lynnwood (2-2, 2-1) to just six points and one field goal in the fourth. Rachel Snow and Maddy Fischer each added 10 points for the Eagles.

Kayla Lorenz hit five 3-pointers and scored 21 points, Dina Yonas chipped in 12 points and Aniya Hooker had 11 points for the Royals.

Stanwood 70, Mountlake Terrace 26

STANWOOD — Grace Walker led eight different Stanwood scorers with 18 points and the Spartans cruised by the Hawks in a Wesco 3A/2A matchup.

Tatum Brager and Jazzmyn Legg each netted 12 points and Chloe Santeford added 11 points for Stanwood (5-1 overall, 3-0 league), which built a 46-18 lead by halftime.

Mylie Armstrong had seven points and Mya Sheffield six points to lead Mountlake Terrace (2-2, 2-1).

Marysville Getchell 44, Cascade 19

MARYSVILLE — Chloe Downing scored 10 points to lead 10 different Marysville Getchell scorers as the Chargers beat the Bruins in Wesco 3A/2A play.

Janelle Bagtas added six points and Hayden Robinson and Lorelei Pringle each had five points for Marysville Getchell (4-2 overall, 2-1 league).

Cascade fell to 1-4 overall and 0-3 in league play.
