Marysville Getchell 71, Archbishop Murphy 49

MARYSVILLE — Bubba Palacol had 18 points, four steals and four assists to help lead Marysville Getchell to a league win over Archbishop Murphy.

Shawn Etheridge had 14 points and five steals, Zach Rice added 12 points on four 3-pointers and Blaine Palacol chipped in eight points and three assists for Marysville Getchell (14-6, 10-5 Wesco 3A/2A).

Luke Blachly scored a team-high 16 points, Jack Sievers added nine and Mateen Usui chipped in six for Archbishop Murphy (6-14, 4-10).

Stanwood 82, Marysville Pilchuck 50

STANWOOD — John Floyd scored 30 points and drilled six 3-pointers to help lead Stanwood to a league win over Marysville Pilchuck.

Senior Owen Thayer added 13 points, senior Aidan Manzuk added 10 points and senior Mason Goodson chipped in eight for Stanwood (15-5, 10-5 Wesco 3A/2A) on Senior Night.

Benjamin Baxter scored a team-high 18 points, Jackson Poe added 16 and Tommy Nguyen chipped in nine for Marysville Pilchuck (2-17, 2-12).

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Wesco 4A

Glacier Peak 62, Kamiak 57

MUKILTEO — Kylani Rookstool scored a team-high 21 points and Glacier Peak held off multiple Kamiak runs to clinch the regular-season league title.

Zoey Ritter scored 16 points and Brynna Pukis added 14 for Glacier Peak (15-4, 7-1 Wesco 4A), which will take the top seed from Wesco into the 4A District 1/2 Tournament next week.

Bella Hasan scored a game-high 28 points and Nayella George added 17 points, 10 rebounds and five steals for Kamiak (8-12, 5-3).

Lake Stevens 79, Mariner 42

LAKE STEVENS — Freshman standout Keira Tupua led 10 Lake Stevens scorers with 21 points and the Vikings stormed to a league win over Mariner.

Perla Ruiz scored 16 points, including four 3-pointers, and Nisa Ellis added 14 for Lake Stevens (14-6, 6-2 Wesco 4A).

Kyairra Roussin scored a team-high 18 points and Danaysia Cain added 14 points and made three 3-pointers for Mariner (4-15, 0-8).

Wesco 3A/2A

Meadowdale 74, Snohomish 62

SNOHOMISH — Gia Powell scored a team-high 22 points and Meadowdale nailed five 3-pointers in the second quarter to pull out to a 12-point halftime lead and held firm for a league win over Snohomish.

Ava Powell scored 19 points, Jordan Leith added 11, and Payton Fleischman and Audrey Lucas added eight each for Meadowdale (14-5, 10-4 Wesco 3A/2A).

Jada Andresen scored a team-high 20 points, Sienna Capelli added 15 and Tyler Gildersleeves-Stiles chipped in 11 for Snohomish (13-6, 10-4).

Lynnwood 65, Cedarcrest 38

DUVALL — Aniya Hooker scored a game-high 19 points to help power Lynnwood to a league win over Cedarcrest.

Kayla Lorenz scored 16 points and Teyah Clark added 13 for Lynnwood (13-5, 11-3 Wesco 3A/2A).

Audrey Mattison scored a team-high 12 points for Cedarcrest (3-16, 2-12).

Non-league

Jackson 65, Cedar Park Christian 60

MILL CREEK — Giselle Dogan poured in 36 points and Jackson jumped out to a 14-point lead after the first quarter and hung on for a non-league win over Cedar Park Christian.

Sophia Giordano, Arielle Leavens and Hannah Mack added seven points each for Jackson (7-14).

Olivia Decker scored a team-high 29 points for Cedar Park Christian (10-10).

GIRLS BOWLING

3A State Championship

TUKWILA — Everett’s Lexie Zabel rolled a six-game series of 885 with a high game of 174 to finish in 44th place at the 3A state girls bowling tournament on Wednesday at Bowlero Bowling Alley.

Evergreen’s Kierra Wilcox won the tournament with a six-game series of 1140, one pin ahead of Kelso’s Emily Strehle.

Zabel was the lone girls bowler from the area to reach the state tournament.
