Herald missed scoop on NAACP report on Lynnwood council, Binda

Given what’s in the Snohomish County NAACP chapter findings regarding Lynnwood City Council Member Joshua Binda’s experiences as an elected member of the council, I hope there will be thorough Herald coverage of it (“NAACP of Snohomish County backs Binda in heated press conference,” The Herald, July 20).

Too bad the paper missed the scoop. From reading it, it seems the policy and financing issues could have been surfaced by Herald reporters pretty easily. What held it back?
