County auditor: Gobel knows how to improve turnout

Please support Cindy Gobel for Snohomish County auditor this Nov. 7 Election.

Snohomish County has chronically low voter turnout. We can change that with increased community education, outreach and engagement. Not just half attempts during an election year, but a full effort; a plan, strategies, tactics and measurable goals.

During a recent Marysville school levy, Gobel helped our team make a detailed plan, reached out to the community, explained the value of investing in our schools, and encouraged people to make informed choices and engage in the process by completing and submitting their ballots. We brought in people from all parties and ideologies, and the result was the levy passing for the first time in years with more voter participation than I’ve seen in my lifetime.

It’s incredibly refreshing talking to her about the ins and outs of this office because she knows so much and has ideas for improving it. I encourage you to speak with her if you have questions. All her contact information is available in the Voters Pamphlet and online.

The bottom line is that we need a county auditor willing to plan for our future and improve our present. Someone who knows how to allocate resources, put in place the programs and policies that will maintain the quality of the customer services, and implement cyber security measures that keep our data and information secure. Cindy has proved time and time again that she helps people, organizations, and communities succeed.

Vote for Cindy Gobel.
