Stanwood 39, Meadowdale 16

STANWOOD — Luke Brennan tossed two touchdown passes and ran for another as the Spartans closed their season with a win over the Mavericks.

Brennan connected on long TD passes to Max Mayo and Eli Caniglia. Mayo and Joey Mumbuluma added rushing TDs, and Alex Maldonado capped the scoring with a touchdown pass to Shawn Porter for Stanwood (4-6).

Victor Eicher had 60 yards on six receptions, including a 16-yard TD from Cameron Platt, Jordan Joyce rushed for a 9-yard TD and Kelvin Mudaliar connected on a 28-yard field goal for Meadowdale (4-6).

4A BI-DISTRICT 1/2 TOURNAMENT

Kamiak 1, Lake Stevens 0

EVERETT — Aliya Boonsripisal scored the winning goal in the second half and the second-seeded Knights wrapped up a state tournament berth by topping the fifth-seeded Vikings in a winner-to-state 4A bi-district 1/2 tournament consolation game.

Elysa Morse recorded the shutout for Kamiak (11-5-2). The Knights are set to host sixth-seeded Mount Si in the third-place game 2 p.m. Saturday.

Lake Stevens (11-4-0) gets one more shot at a state tournament berth in a winner-to-state, loser-out contest at fourth-seeded Issaquah at 2 p.m. Saturday.

3A DISTRICT 1 TOURNAMENT

Oak Harbor 1, Everett 0

SHORELINE — The fifth-seeded Seagulls fell 1-0 to the sixth-seeded Wildcats in a winner-to-state, loser-out consolation game at the 3A District 1 tournament.

Everett ends its season at 10-9-1.

Addisen Boyer scored in the 39th minute for Oak Harbor (13-6-1).

Ferndale 2, Mountlake Terrace 1 (PKs)

SHORELINE — The fourth-seeded Hawks fell to the third-seeded Golden Eagles in penalty kicks during a winner-to-state, loser-out consolation game at the 3A District 1 tournament.

Mountlake Terrace ends its season at 11-6-2.

The Golden Eagles improved to 15-2-2.

2A DISTRICT 1 TOURNAMENT

Lynden 1, Archbishop Murphy 0 (OT)

SEDRO-WOOLLEY— The fourth-seeded Wildcats fell in overtime against the fifth-seeded Lions in a loser-out consolation game of the 2A District 1 tournament.

Archbishop Murphy finished its season at 13-6-1.

Lynden (13-4-3) advanced to the winner-to-state, second-place game against third-seeded Cedarcrest at 1 p.m. Saturday at Civic Stadium in Bellingham.

EMERALD SOUND CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT

Bear Creek 1, King’s 0 (PKs)

BELLEVUE — The seventh-seeded Knights fell to the fifth-seeded Bears in penalty kicks during a winner-to-state third-place game at the Emerald Sound Conference Tournament.

King’s ends it season at 7-7-4.

Bear Creek improved to 14-5-1.

3A DISTRICT 1 TOURNAMENT

Oak Harbor 3, Stanwood 1

STANWOOD — Harper Neyens posted 21 kills and 14 digs, Cambrielle Brown added eight kills and eight digs, but the eighth-seeded Spartans fell 25-20, 25-23, 26-28, 25-14 against the ninth-seeded Wildcats in the play-in round of the 3A District 1 tournament.

Katana Karasti chipped in 15 digs and Cadence Simpson 17 assists and five digs for Stanwood (8-9).

Oak Harbor (10-7) will travel to face top-seeded Lynnwood in the quarterfinals at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Snohomish 3, Arlington 1

ARLINGTON — The 10th-seeded Panthers topped the seventh-seeded Eagles 17-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-15 to advance to the quarterfinals of the 3A District 1 tournament.

Kelsey Nichols had 13 kills, two aces and 1o digs to lead Snohomish. Sophie Red added nine kills and four aces, while Anika Smith had 22 digs.

Snohomish (8-9) will travel to face second-seeded Shorewood at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Arlington ends its season at 8-10.

Monroe 3, Marysville Pilchuck 0

MONROE — The fifth-seeded Bearcats extended their winning streak to 12 matches with a 24-16, 25-6, 25-12 sweep of the 12th-seeded Tomahawks to advance to the quarterfinals of the 3A District 1 tournament.

Allie Heksaw recorded 11 kills and five digs, Karisa Martin added 10 kills, Sara Skold 16 assists, four digs and three kills, and Niya Insixiengmay 24 digs, three aces and three assists for Monroe (14-4). The Bearcats will travel to face fourth-seeded Shorecrest at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Marysville Pilchuck ends its season at 6-10.

Ferndale 3, Edmonds-Woodway 2

FERNDALE — The 11th-seeded Warriors’ upset bid fell short in a five-set loss to the sixth-seeded Golden Eagles in the play-in round of the 3A District 1 tournament.

Edmonds-Woodway ends its season at 9-9.

Ferdnale (9-8) will travel to face third-seeded Meadowdale in the quarterfinals 7 p.m. Tuesday.

2A DISTRICT 1 TOURNAMENT

Bellingham 3, Archbishop Murphy 2

BELLINGHAM — The fourth-seeded Wildcats dropped a tight contest to the seventh-seeded Bayhawks in a loser-out consolation game at the 2A District 1 tournament.

Archbishop Murphy finished its season at 12-7.

Bellingham (9-10) advanced to face the winner of fifth-seeded Anacortes vs. third-seeded Sehome in a loser-out game later in the evening.

1B TRI-DISTRICT 1/2/3 TOURNAMENT

MOUNT VERNON — The sixth-seeded Loggers (14-9) fell to the fourth-seeded Hurricanes, 15-25, 25-23, 25-12, 25-10, in the third-place match of the 1B tri-district 1/2/3 tournament.

Both teams had already qualified for the state tournament via wins in the quarterfinals Tuesday.

MOUNT VERNON — The fifth-seeded Eagles (19-3) beat third-seeded Pope John Paul II 25-11, 25-11, 25-13 in the fifth-place game of the 1B tri-district 1/2/3 tournament.

Both teams had already qualified for the state tournament via wins in the quarterfinals Tuesday.

Non-league

Everett 3, Mariner 1

EVERETT — Ella Haakenstad had seven kills, five aces and five digs, Madison Huggett added five kills, four aces and three blocks, and the Seagulls ended their season with a victory over the Marauders on senior night.

Ava Urbanozo chipped in 34 assists, nine digs and eight aces, and Ava Gonzalez 15 kills and seven digs for Everett (5-12).

Mariner dropped to 0-13.
