County Sheriff: Johnson, office, will uphold the law

Thanks to The Herald’s editorial board for endorsing Susanna Johnson for sheriff (“Johnson offers experience, training, professionalism,” The Herald, Oct. 21). I’ve paid a lot of attention to both candidates and decided Johnson is my clear choice.

I am impressed by not only her knowledge of issues but also her understanding of nuances and her impartial compassion for those in need. The most basic issue for me as a citizen is that she follows the law; the department under her leadership will do so as well.
