Everett City Council, Pos. 6: Bader will work for city’s best

I feel strongly that voting for Scott Bader for Everett City Council will help our nice town to avoid falling into the situation that Seattle is in. Bader has served as an Everett council member in the past and I am pleased that he decided to run again.

His past record as a council members was exemplary and exhibited common sense and wisdom. Many past and current city leaders apparently agree with me, based on their endorsement of him. He makes decisions based on facts and reason rather than emotion and he examines all sides of an issue before making an informed decision. He will vote to have our town safer and more peaceful and has the support of law enforcement.

Bader has a positive outlook and treats all people with civility, including those with opposing views. He tries to be a consensus builder and he will help our town to be more unified rather than divided. He has the support of both democrats and republicans. In knowing Scott, I can say that he does not have selfish motives but tries to make everyone and everything around him better. Proof of this observation is his involvement in the Boy Scouts, his church, and his neighborhood activities. In summary, and reiterating my first sentence in this opinion, a vote for Scott Bader is a step in making Everett a better place to live.
