BOYS BASKETBALL

Wesco 3A/2A

Arlington 83, Cedarcrest 67

DUVALL — Leyton Martin poured in a game-high 28 points and the Eagles knocked down 11 3-pointers in a Wesco 3A/2A victory over the Red Wolves.

Silas Miller connected on six 3-pointers for all 19 of his points, Jake Willis added 11 points and Hudson Miller nine for Arlington (3-1 overall, 1-0 league), which made 16 of 20 from the free-throw line.

Adam Rawlings netted 20 points, Jack Leblanc had 19 and Alex Amaral chipped in 18 to lead Cedarcrest (1-1, 0-1).

Marysville Getchell 65, Edmonds-Woodway 47

EDMONDS — Wyatt Harris led a trio of Chargers in double figures with 18 points and six rebounds, and Marysville Getchell used a fast start to beat the Warriors in a Wesco 3A/2A game.

Bubba Palacol scored 16 points and had four steals, and Shawn Etheridge added 14 points and six assists for Marysville Getchell (4-0 overall, 1-0 league), which outscored Edmonds-Woodway 24-11 in the first quarter.

DJ Karl led Edmonds-Woodway (0-3, 0-1) with 11 points. Luke Boland, Aiden Johansen and Julian Gray added in eight points apiece.

Non-league

Lincoln (Tacoma) 63, Lake Stevens 58

LAKE STEVENS — The Vikings fell to the Abes in a tight non-league battle.

Javon McFerrin led four Lake Stevens (2-2) players in double figures with 14 points. Daniel Ngezaho netted 12 points and Mekhi Hunter and Cooper Graham added 10 apiece.

La’Vhante Sandling-Green scored a game-high 20 points and Omarion Boston had 18 for Lincoln (3-0).

Kamiak 78, Newport 63

MUKILTEO — Maximus Christiansen poured in 26 points and Kamiak secured a non-league victory over Newport in a Knights vs. Knights matchup.

Elijah Pierre had 10 points, Alex Lundquist provided nine and Daniel Shubert added eight for Kamiak (3-0).

Newport dropped to 0-2.

EDMONDS — Natalie Durbin paced the Warriors with 23 points and six assists as the Warriors cruised to a Wesco 3A/2A victory over the Chargers.

Finley Wichers had 12 points and eight rebounds and Indira Carey-Boxley added 11 points and five steals for Edmonds-Woodway (2-2 overall, 1-0 league).

Frannie Wright netted 14 points and Chloe Downing chipped in nine to lead Marysville Getchell (0-3, 0-1).

Granite Falls 46, Bear Creek 33

Lynden 54, Lake Stevens 45

LYNDEN — The Vikings made a late push but couldn’t overcome an early deficit against the Lions in a non-league game.

Nisa Ellis led a balanced effort for Lake Stevens (2-2) with 12 points. Noelani Tupua had nine points and Griffyn Eyman added.

Lynden improved to 4-0.

Mountlake Terrace 40, Marysville Pilchuck 25

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Jordyn Stokes and Hurley Schmidt scored 11 points apiece as the Hawks topped the Tomahawks in a non-league matchup.

Alexa Brock chipped in six points for Mountlake Terrace (1-2).

Kiawna Calkins scored eight points and Jenifer Rivera added seven to pace Marysville Pilchuck (0-5).
