Gun sales show public mood regarding crime

I used to be a Democrat. Show me a new conservative, and I’ll show you a liberal who has been mugged by reality.

Numbers do not lie. The raw stats in this state, as well as the nation, tell the true story. It is the result of failed liberal policies across the board that citizens no longer feel safe, nor do they believe that the police are an effective safeguard against crime of all kinds. The demographics cut across all racial, political, and social standings.

People are exercising their Second Amendment rights in record numbers. The nation is moving toward conservative thinking about this important constitutional right to self-defense. Gun sales are going through the roof, driven by first-time gun owners. Liberal lawmakers are going bonkers. This trend is not revealed by votes, but by sales and permits.
