STANWOOD — Sophomores Harper Neyens and Whitney Longspaugh proved too much for Everett as the Spartans came back to defeat Everett and stay unbeaten in league. Stanwood (8-2 overall, 7-0 league) lost the first two sets 25-21 and 25-22, then rebounded with 25-17, 25-21 and 15-10 victories. Neyens finished with 28 kills, 16 digs and a block, and Longspaugh added 22 kills, 24 digs and an ace. Addison Bowie handed out 52 assists to go along with 10 digs and two aces. Everett (4-7, 3-4) stayed in the match with a pair of sophomore Avas. Ava Gonzalez contributed 27 kills and 22 digs while Ava Ubanozo tallied 41 assists, eight digs and two aces.
