SEDRO-WOOLLEY — Six first-inning runs propelled the Cougars (6-12, 3-10) to a comfortable league win. Drew Egger (3-for-4, 2 RBI, 2 runs) was the game’s only player to compile multiple runs and RBI, while Aiden Jones (1-for-3, 2 RBI, run) brought in two runs himself. Lakewood pitcher Connor Taylor earned the win, allowing four hits and one earned run to three Ks in five innings.

Northwest 2B/1B

Darrington 7, La Conner 3

DARRINGTON — The Loggers’ (4-10, 2-7) four third-inning runs alone outscored La Conner en route to a solid win. Although Darrington went 6-for-28, it stole seven bases to make each hit count. Chevy Vincent (2-for-4, 2 SB, 2 runs) and Cooper Green (1-for-3, SB, RBI, 2 runs) were the only players to score multiple runs in the game. Pitcher Jayce Lenker (4.0 IP, 3 H, R, ER, 4 BB, 9 K) earned the win for Darrington.
