Letter: Trump will never let truth see the light of day

Those darn Iranians refuse to surrender and Trump has more egg on his face. The Donald thinks Cuba is up to something, and now he’s making noise about our voting rights by sending ICE into the voting places and banning mail-in voting even though Trump himself just voted by mail-in ballot.
But guess what folks, all these headlines sure work to keep us from talking about Jeffrey Epstein don’t they? It would probably be a good bet that those millions of redacted pages of files that are being withheld will never be delivered at all. Trump and co will do anything to prevent truth from seeing the light of day. What a hell of a job we’re doing delivering justice for those poor victims who were brave enough to stand up and fight while the ‘house of horrors’ called congress, looks for time off and our so-called Justice Department hems and haws and with one eye on Trump, wrings its hands over their apparent helplessness in bringing justice to the whole sordid affair.
The victims have the guts but congress, our president, and his wealthy backers, don’t have a clue what intestinal fortitude is.
