KINGSTON — A missing Kingston man has been found in good condition near Port Gamble.

Kitsap County Deputy Scott Wilson says 75-year-old Alfred Kenneth Engh had become tired on a hike Tuesday and hunkered down for the night. He told rescuers his hips gave out.

He was found by deputies just before 8 a.m. Wednesday on the Jefferson County side of the Hood Canal Floating Bridge after a friend reported seeing him walk across the bridge.

Wilson said Engh was checked by an aid car and his family picked him up.
