STANWOOD — Stanwood quarterback Drew Wright tossed three touchdowns and the Spartans defense shut out Shorecrest in a Wesco 3A contest. Wright connected with Brian O’Donnell, Chad Larson and Collins Cameron for scores. O’Donnell had 70 yards on a school-record 11 receptions, which according to Stanwood’s Dennis Judd, broke the single-game school record of nine catches. Kyle Strachan had a 42-yard touchdown run and Brandon Ross rushed for 103 yards as the Spartans piled up 256 yards on the ground.
