Stealth announce practice squad

EVERETT — The Washington Stealth announced the three players that will make up the team’s practice squad for the 2012 season on Monday.

Forwards Martin Cummings and Mike Mallory and defenseman Justin Salt have all signed as members of the practice team.

Cummings spent last season on the Stealth’s practice roster, appearing in one game and scoring his first National Lacrosse League goal against Edmonton.

The right-hander Mallory was drafted by the Stealth in the third round (21st overall) of the 2011 NLL Entry draft.

Salt, a left-hander, was selected by the Stealth in the sixth round (52nd overall) of the 2011 NLL entry draft.

The Stealth open the season Jan.14 at home against Calgary.
