A great little book to read that will not put you to sleep is “Negotiation Rules!” by Jeanette Nyden. The first edition was published in 2009 and you will need to forgive some editor proofreading errors. But that hiccup aside, you will find all sorts of tips and hints to apply to everyday situations.
Questions and answers are provided for the reader in the last chapter, along with guidelines and perspectives: A valuable tool to those of us who are beginners in the negotiation-mediation process. This book is a good read for anyone who considers themselves a professional in a workplace environment and wishes to learn different practical approaches to real-life situations.
