Just a dusting
Some snow is expected to fall in the Everett area early today (Page B1). It won’t be much, though, just what one forecaster describes as a “friendly snow.” Definition: Not bad enough to make you miss any traveling you want to do, but bad enough to let you beg out of anything you’d rather avoid.
Circle of Life: Elton John and his husband are now the proud parents of a baby boy (Page A2).
The baby’s name — take a deep breath — is Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John. Like most infants he was wrapped lovingly in a blanket and tiny cap, accessorized with a pair of pink rhinestone sunglasses.
Cheers! It is the season of festive cocktails (Page E1). One barman explains that the best cocktail presentation is like painting a portrait. College students, pay attention, maybe you can use that new invention of yours to help you check off some art class requirements. Note: Beer bongs do NOT count as art.
Chompers: An industrious 92-year-old man chewed through his restraints after a robbers secured him to a chair (Page B8). With teeth like that at 92, we’d like to know who his dentist is.
