This is ‘Jeopardy!’

I’ll take Famous Rogue Computers for $800, Alex: The high-brow TV game show “Jeopardy!” plans to pit two of its best champions, Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter, against an IBM supercomputer for an episode that will air Feb. 14.

The computer, which won’t be connected to the Internet, will still have a slight edge: All contestants have to answer in the form of binary code.

The hare’s going to Arizona: A 600-pound giant tortoise, which is believed to be at least 150 years old, is recovering in a veterinary hospital in Oregon but will be sent to live out his senior years in Texas. The warmer temperatures there are closer to the tortoise’s native waters in the Indian Ocean.

And like the other snowbirds heading south this winter, the tortoise is taking along his own home.

Return to sender: A Wisconsin postal carrier was arrested for lewd and lascivious behavior when he attempted to “cheer up” a woman on his route by delivering her mail in the nude.

That’s the problem with the U.S. Postal Service: All that arrives anymore are bills and junk mail.
