Cute kids spend day with local cops

MUKILTEO – Throughout December, cops and firefighters around the county have been hosting Shop With A Cop, an event where emergency responders take kids in need to shop for Christmas presents.

I wrote a story about Lynnwood’s Shop With A Cop earlier this month.

In Mukilteo, about 16 kids participated in Shop With A Cop on Tuesday. They munched on slices of pizza before riding in squad cars and fire rigs on their way to shopping centers. Each kid got to spend $100 to buy gifts for themselves and their families.
